Number of people buying prescription medications outside U.S. could rise with unemployment, uninsured rates

Buying prescription drugs from outside the United States could become more common with millions of Americans unemployed and uninsured because of the coronavirus pandemic. About 2 million Americans-1.5% of adults-purchase medications outside the country to save money, according to a study by researchers at the University of Florida published online Wednesday in JAMA.
